From most places in my little town, you can look up and see the ski area, a majestic mountain covered with snaking white lanes of snow. In the evening, those lanes catch every tiny little bit of sparkle available and just glow.

When I first caught sight of this yarn, I realized that it carried all the colors of the cold winter evening sky. Add in a big ol’ oversized crocheted snowflake for fun, and I had captured the essence of that night hill.
