Winter Paisley Mittens
Introduction
Dazzling colours pop against a white or nearly white background in these paisley-filled picot-trimmed mittens. Make a full set of paisley winter wear (mittens, hat, and cowl) using three balls in main colour and just one ball of contrast colour.
Pattern notes
I originally intended this mitten to be knit using the stranded knitting technique. However, when I knit it myself this way, I was not satisfied with the result. I knit the mitten in the sample in MC only to maximize the stretch and minimize the number of floats to potentially catch fingers on. The patterning was added in a loose duplicate stitch after the knitting was complete.
