Wichita Falls Scarf
This pattern is designed to be a quick and easy knit. Even the newest knitter can manage this project, and it is interesting enough that experienced knitters will want to cast on too. Knit in a super bulky, organic Italian yarn, it is a quick but luxurious project that makes a perfect last minute gift. It is sure to warm the spirit and protect from the biting cold. It is highly adjustable to a variety of yarn weights and finished sizes.
Beginning knitters will learn these new skills:
• how to create neat edges using slipped stitches
• how to work the Seed stitch
• how to knit a motif using just knit and purl stitches,
• how to read charts
This scarf is knit back and forth and both written and charted directions are included.
This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and test knit.
Finished Size 11.5” (29 cm) wide and 106” (269 cm) long.
Directions for optional tassels included.
