The Westfjords of Iceland are a rugged and stunning region of the country. They are full of unique geologic landscapes and wildlife. Less traveled and icy, the perfect journey for you and your new Westfjords jumper!

This is a pattern for a jumper worked from the top down and in the round, with a circular yoke, and using the stranded colourwork technique. Yoke, body, and sleeve motifs are charted. Familiarity with charts, using multiple repeats withing a chart, and extending patterning is helpful with this project.

Stitches are cast on, the rib is worked followed by the yoke. Then sleeve sts are separated from the body and each element is worked separately. All is worked in st st unless otherwise noted.

This garment is intended to be worn with a bit of positive ease since Lettlopi is usually not worn against bare skin. Adjustments may be made for best fit. Please see schematic for all approximate finished sizes. Familiarity with charts and extending patterning is helpful with this project.
