Waves poncho
This wavy poncho is beautiful and fun to make.
First the cowl is made in sc ribbing - the cowl is taller on the back to make it sit better on the body. The rest of the poncho is made top down from the cowl in an undulating, wavy pattern.
You can leave out the cowl if you prefer, and get a nice cape to wear over a dress.
Finished measurements: 52 (60) 67 cm circumference at neck. 128 (146) 164 cm circumference on lower edge.
The yarn is super bulky - and you will need 5 (6) 6 skeins. I used a 5 mm hook for the ribbing and a 7 mm hook for the rest of the poncho, but I crochet rather loosely, so you might need bigger hooks to get gauge.
The pattern is available only in english - a danish version is available in the book “Hækleværk”.
