I often find that I want warm shoulders but don’t want to fuss with keeping a shawl on. Or I want a warm neck but a cowl looks odd with my outfit. A poncho? Can’t always wear a coat over it. What to do?

I created this shoulder warmer as a multi-tasker. It can act as a small poncho, a large cowl, or even a snood/hood. It tucks nicely into the neckline of a coat or sits gently over the shoulders showing off beautiful colors and simple lace.

The original pattern is made in Noro Kureyon, a worsted weight yarn with incredible texture and color variation. It is somewhat self striping, which allows the lace pattern to shine. However, this garment also lends itself to stash busting, mini-skeins, and holding yarns doubled or tripled to create a marled, one-of-a-kind sensation.
