This water bottle bag was designed by my ten year old daughter with my help. She’s excited to share it with you in her first published pattern!
We think these bags are great because right now most drinking fountains are out of order due to covid-19. You still need to drink water, especially if you live in the desert like us.

She designed the idea, and I gave her guidance on how to get the end result. I kept track of the steps and she tested the pattern on water bottle bags for her siblings. She helped type up the pattern

This pattern makes a simple and handy water bottle bag that fits even 16oz/500mL Nalgene bottles. Make the strap longer or shorter if needed.

Yarn: Acrylic Worsted Weight

Skeins: One skein

Hook: 5.5 mm (I) hook

Other: Yarn needle, Scissors
