Vintage Lace Shawl
My “Hippie” mother quite often wore an amazingly beautiful macramé shawl when I was just a keiki (child) in Hawai’i. My daughter later found said shawl while rummaging through my mother’s closet & incorporated it into her very “Hipster” wardrobe as a scarf! I then stole it from my daughter, but not before creating a replacement…that I also had to make for myself…and my mother!
You know how most crocheted Triangle Shawls get longer before they get wider? Not this one! That’s why it makes such a great shawl AND scarf :)
This is an ADVANCED BEGINNER pattern as it has the mild challenges of a treble crochet and a change of direction. But fear not, I’ve included a new and improved COMPLETE PHOTO TUTORIAL as well as the usual PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION. So, beginners will love the small challenge and more experienced stitchers will love how fast and fun this is to make!
