Twist is a classic headband with a twist in the front. With the sizes instructed in the pattern you can provide the whole family with warm ears, but you can easily make the headband as long and wide as you want. The headband is worked in the round, making it twice as thick and therefore twice as warm. It is therefore the ideal project to practice knitting with circular needles and the magic loop method. It slides off the needles surprisingly quickly, so it also makes it the perfect gift knitting project.

Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4) to fit a head circumference of 52-54 (54-56, 56-58, 58-60) cm / 20.5-21.25 (21.25-22, 22-22.75, 22.75-23.5)”

Shown in size 3 in colour 487 and 1338 on a head circumference of 57 cm / 22.5”.

Because the length of the headband is determined while knitting, the finished length is easily adjusted to your own head circumference.

Finished measurements
Circumference: 47 (49, 51, 53) cm / 18.5 (19.25, 20, 20.75)”
Width: 9 (10, 11.5, 12.5) cm / 3.5 (4, 4.5, 5)”

Would you like a smaller/wider headband? Decrease/increase the amount of cast on stitches. Keep in mind the amount of yarn needed when doing so.
