When you collect lots of single skeins and have no idea what to do with them, this beani is for you :) Grab two contrasting colors of sport weight and CO, sail through soothing tuck stitch to swirl your beanie at the crown.
Size
One size: to fit 54-56 cm/21-22” circumference.
Length from brim to top - about 26 cm/10.25”.
Yarn
1 skein each in 2 colors of sport weight yarn.
Sample used:
MC – Arroyo by Malabrigo (100% merino; 306m/335y per 100g), colorway: Pleiades.
CC – Cecily Grove Yarns Goya Sport (100% merino; 300m/325y per 100g); colorway: Lightbugs.
Needles
3.5 mm/US #4 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16” long) and dpns, or appropriate size to get gauge;
3.0 mm/US #2.5 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16” long) or dpns, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles.
Other
1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge
25 sts and 26 rounds in 10 cm/4” in pattern worked in the round with needle 3.5 mm/US #4. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
