DESCRIPTION
The Trento Hat is an easy knitting pattern that’s beautifully textured. The pattern includes instructions for how to knit this hat in the round and how to knit it flat on straight needles. This textured hat is knit with a simple 4 round repeat. This beanie knits up fairly quick in worsted weight yarn and even in dark colors the texture pops.

• MATERIALS
#4 medium worsted weight yarn, pictured in Lion Brand’s Basic Stitch in purple.
Rec yarn by size: Toddler 95yds/87m, Child 105yds/96m, Teen/Sm Adult 115yds/105m, M/L Adult 125yds/114m
4.5mm straight or circular needles with 16” cables (or longer 24”+ for magic loop), or needle size needed to meet gauge
yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape

SIZING
To fit age (head circumference): toddler (18”/45.7cm), child (20”/50.8cm), teen/sm adult (21”/53.3cm), med/lg adult (22”/56cm)

STITCHES/SKILLS
Knit in the round or flat, ribbing, k, p, k2tog, p2tog

GAUGE
4”/10cm x 4”/10cm =16 sts x 30 rounds in pattern, before blocking
