Transatlantic
Pick a favorite color combination and play with the fun striping and slipped stitches in this top down triangular shawl. The graphic quality is enhanced with three differently sized buttonholes that are lined with a single crochet edge. These openings can serve as decorative accents or they can be functional by sticking one of the wing tips through them to secure the fabric in place when wearing it like a scarf. Transatlantic was my travel project when I moved from America to Europe. I bound off the last few stitches the very moment my plane landed in Amsterdam. I hope this shawl can travel with you on an adventure of your own!
