Tiny Edges Socks
Edges are filled with choices. Do we go around, over, above them, or just stand and look at them? They’re a natural part of our surroundings, and we can choose how to deal with them.
The same is true for these socks. Magic Loop/2 circulars? DPNs? Small circulars? Seams? No seam? Your choices matter and they’re important because you made them do what’s best for your own style of knitting. Insructions are given where necessary for Magic Loop versus DPNs.
The stitch used in this sock is mildly stretchy and due to the crossed stitches, stays up to its mid-calf height well. Instructions are both charted and written for two different leg options, with sizes Small / Medium (up to US women’s size 9), and Large / XL (US women’s size 9 - 10).
For a smaller sock, reduce the Small/Medium by one 6-stitch repeat. To increase the Large / XL, add additional ribbing at both sides.
