Note
Top-down shawl knitted in the round. After casting on and working 1st row, insert steek stitches then continue working down the shawl along with decreases. Once knitting is completed, the steek is cut open and unraveled to be tied for a fringe.
For the 14 steek stitches (7 stitches each side of BORM) at rows where multiple colors are used, beginning with MC, work each 7 stitches in MC and CC alternately. (Both steek stitches next to BORM must be in MC.)

Note
このショールは, トップダウンで輪で編む. 作り目をして1段編んだ後ス ティークを作り, 編み込み模様を編みながら両サイドで減目して編み進め る. 最後にスティークを切り, スティーク部分の編み地を少しずつほどきな がら結んでフリンジを作る.
スティークはBORMを挟んで7目, 7目の14目で構成されている. 2色の 糸を使用する段では, MCから開始し, CCと1目ずつ交互に7目を編む. (BORMの両脇の目はMCになる).
スティークとチャートの間の2目はMCで編む.
BORで糸を変える時は5センチほど残して糸を切り, 新しいCCを付ける. 糸 同士を結ぶ必要はない.
