What? Tideland, a light and stylish crochet scarf pattern. It can easily be adapted to a smaller size to create a long and thin scarf or larger to make a beautiful wrap by simply changing the number of stitches in the foundation chain as indicated. The pattern varies between a lacy texture, giving it a honeycomb look, and a ribbed texture.
Why? This was my entry to the 13th Guerre des Mailles with the theme ‘Heureux d’un printemps’, or ‘Happy for Spring’.
What you need: Approximately 690 yards of fingering weight yarn and a 3.00 mm hook (although the pattern can be adapted to any yarn or hook size). Please note that yarn with natural fibre content is strongly recommended as blocking the work is necessary to ensure a straight edge because of the changing texture.

The pattern includes a crochet chart for the motif and a row guide to help you along as you crochet.

Qu’est-ce que c’est? Tideland est une jolie et légère écharpe au crochet. Le patron peut être adapté plus petit pour faire une longue écharpe étroite ou plus grande pour créer un grand châle, en simplement ajuster le nombre de mailles de fondation. Le style varie entre un look plus aéré qui donne un effet de nid d’abeille et une texture de côtes.
Pourquoi? Ce modèle est ma soumission à la 13e édition de la Guerre des Mailles avec comme thème ‘Heureux d’un printemps’.
Vous aurez besoin: Approximativement 630 m de laine de poids fingering et un crochet 3.00 mm (par contre, ce modèle peut être adapté à plusieurs grosseurs de laine ou de crochets). Notez bien, de la laine qui contient une fibre naturelle est fortement recommandée pusique le blocage est nécessaire pour un fini bien droit des bords, surtout à cause des changements de textures au courant du travail.

Le patron inclut un schéma (diagramme) pour le motif, ainsi qu’un guide de rang pour bien vous guider en crochetant.
