Thekla was born out of a desire to decorate a simple, wearable shape with the intricate all-over patterning of delicately textured cable motifs.
The comfortable cardigan has a relaxed shape and modified drop shoulder sleeves, button bands and neckband which are worked in single ribbing.
The back, fronts and sleeves are worked flat from the bottom up. Neckband and button-bands are picked up to finish. You can choose to work the all-over patterns from a chart or written instructions, whichever you prefer.
