The Riley Socks
This is a top/cuff down sock.
The Riley Socks Knitting Pattern was so fun to knit. Using not even half of a 100g skein and a scrap yarn, these socks came together in less than a week. The perfect way to spend a quiet day inside or cozied up in a coffee shop.
The Riley Socks has a beautiful texture that runs down the front of the sock. It’s a simple 2-round repeat pattern. Makes a great weekend project and the perfect on-the-go sock with a simple texture and easy-to-memorize stitch pattern. It’s pure joy to knit.
Classic. Elegant. Simplistic.
This sock pattern is perfect for your 30 minutes of knitting every morning. It works up fast.
Skill level: Beginner Sock Knitter or anyone comfortable with knitting in the round.
Chart: NEVER. All of my patterns are written for ease of reading.
Language: Standard American Knit Terms written in English.
Yarn: Fingering weight/Sock Yarn; Yarn Cafe Creations was used for the MC for this sample. Scrap yarn (Malabrigo Yarns Sock) was used for the CC. (category 1)
Needles: US Size 1/2.25mm. I use DPNs.
Size: Adult women size medium width; Approx. shoe size: U.S. 6-10 (39-42 Euro)
Multiples of the pattern work for a 56 or 72 stitch cast on, as well.
A Craft Yarn Council chart has been provided to help you determine the length of your sock based on your foot size. Most of my socks have one cast on for an average width foot (keep in mind socks stretch, so this is rarely a problem), some have more sizes depending on the sock.
I DO NOT accept returns, cancellations or exchanges of a PDF INSTANT DOWNLOAD PATTERN.
