Colorful flowers are in bloom, if not outside, all over our latest shawl pattern! Designer, Christine Young, uses large areas of contrast color to make up the two flower motifs within this shawl design. It’s a blast to knit with our unique yarns and watch the beautiful flowers come to life right before your eyes.

The Flower Power Shawl is worked from the center out with a stockinette foundation and eyelet accents. A mini skein kit is used to create two intarsia flowers and the scalloped bind off edge. The shape is curved, like a crescent moon making it idea for draping around your shoulders cozily.

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced Knitter

Needle Size:

US 17 (12.75 mm) 40” / 100 cm or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

Note: If you are having trouble obtaining gauge (i.e. your gauge is just a little bigger on one needle and smaller on the next size down), it is recommended to use the smaller needle size.

6.5 sts and 10 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked flat, taken after steam blocking

CC: 1 Mini Skein Sampler Kit (approx. 85 yds / 164-170 g) - 5 mini skeins of yarn included per kit, 17 yds / skein shown in Ochre Twist
