The hat is knitted from the bottom up in stockinette stitch.
The first part of the hat is worked on a short circular needle (30 or 40 cm - 3,0mm), while the end of the crown is worked on DPNs.
The crown of the hat has a very nice decrease which emphasizes the simple shape.
There is also room for a ponytail inside the hat.

This is a super comfortable, soft and thin hat that you certainly will love to use.
Use it indoors or outdoors - on a trip to the coffee shop in town or hiking in the nature - on a lazy day in the garden or a workout in the park, a summer day or in winter time, in other words, every day!

Knit it in thin, fine and super-soft cashmere, angora or deer fur - or in gorgeous, breathable, warming and water-repellent mink.
The choice is yours, but you may wish to knit more than one hat!

Various yarn options are stated in the pattern, but you can use any fingering / light fingering yarn that knits up to the given gauge.
But honestly, the softness of the cashmere (or similiar fibers) might be the best part of this hat.
