This cabled scarf is reversible—the pattern on the other side is completely different, but just as interesting. It’s like two scarves in one!

MATERIALS NEEDED
Yarn:
Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100% merino; 210yds/192m per 100g skein); color Purple Mystery; 2 skeins

Recommended needles:
US #8 (5.0 mm) straight or circular needles

Notions:
Cable needle, yarn needle, pins (for blocking)

GAUGE
20 sts/27 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in Sunburst Wave pattern

18 sts/26 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in stockinette stitch

PATTERN NOTES
The Sunburst Wave pattern will naturally pull in and will require blocking to open up the stitches and expand the scarf to the correct size. See end of pattern for blocking tips.
