Terrace Mittens
Terrace Mittens are a worsted weight mitten knit in 100% wool. The simple colourwork pattern and somewhat heavy yarn used results in a fairly quick knit. The pattern includes clear charts, and the written instructions, although not given row by row, will help clarify the pattern. This pattern uses some intermediate techniques, like two stranded colourwork, knitting in the round and a stretchy cast on. I believe a mitten is great place to practice these, or even learn them.
