Teo is a chubby, cuddly bear. He sits perfectly with a friendly bee atop his head!

The pattern is an easy level and uses US terms. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions to make the toy.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Teo is approx. 13cm tall using Rico Creative Cotton (Aran) yarn.

You will need:

• 3.50mm hook/E (US)
• 10ply yarn (Worsted / Aran) > 50g in BROWN, small amounts of other colours
• BLACK and WHITE embroidery thread
• A pair of 9mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
