Tea And Sympathy
by Rose Anne
Doesn’t this little guy just ooooooze charisma and personality? That is because he knows that he is the Most Stylish tea cosy, of all the tabletops in Dublin. Wearing the very latest colour combinations, executed in restrained yet confident garterly bumpy rows, he struts through the rest of the crockery. Spout out, ruffles raised, pompom hat cocked just so.
The yarn used is the delightfully bouncy-but-strong-and-hardwearing aran tweed that is spun and dyed in Kilcar village, in the Gaeltacht area of Co. Donegal. It comes in a great range of colourways which stand up to endless palette mixing.
Thanks to super pattern tester Deirdre :)
