The square uses 4 colors and is worked in such a way to give that disjointed look!

The Swivel square is basically what you’d get if the Polarity mandala and the Swish cap had a child (The Polarity was part of the Jan issue of Variegated! and the Swish cap part of this April issue)

Although the pattern says one size , you could potentially carry on to make it one big granny square blanket!

This is square , Swivel is designed by the daughter. Usually when designing for the mag, mom will take squares while the daughter takes the mandalas. This time, the daughter stopped her and said ‘you know what, I have an idea for a square, let me try this one’ and found that it was so much fun! She’s glad she tried her hand at squares, but you probably won’t see it happen very often
