This blanket makes the perfect baby gift. It is super warm and cozy, perfect for snuggling during the cold winter months. It features a beautiful quilted look. It works up quickly and is very easy to make! This is a fun and satisfying project for any level of crocheter, although this is a beginner level pattern. This pattern makes a 30 by 35 inch blanket, but you could easily make more of the rectangular “blocks” to make it whatever size you would like.

This blanket uses about 800 yards of Bulky/CYC Weight 5 yarn, L/ 8mm crochet hook, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge is 4” square = 9 half double crochet by 8 rows.
