Have you ever looked through your stash to find that you have a lot of grays, naturals or tans? Do you love fingering weight yarn and end up with beautiful mini skeins or leftovers but not enough to make a full projects? Take those minis and marl them with the neutrals to make a DK/worsted weight, beautiful, easy cowl that highlights your favorite hues.

This cowl is worked using garter stitch in the round, but no purling is necessary! If you prefer, I will show you how to use the wrap and turn method to make this easy project super simple! Just add color and go!

The small cowl uses as its neutral shade while the medium and large cowls use a gray skein (unknown dyer), each held with colorful minis. The pink/green version uses mini-skeins from Lamby Toes (no longer dyeing). The teal/gold and plum/blue versions use MadelineTosh Tosh Merino Light (Cousteau and Cosmos), Lavender Lune (Fox River, Ember, ) and Hazel Knits (Bronze Age).
