Putting a modern spin on beautiful 1920’s fashion, the Sunburst Shawl embodies the luxury, glamour and exuberance of the Art Deco era.

It is a beaded, crescent shaped shawl that takes its name from a motif often seen in the architecture, art and clothing of the period.

Knit this shawl with a single skein of sock yarn, and dance the night away at a jazz festival or summer ball.

3.75mm (US 5), 100cm (40”) long circular needles

70 gram size 6 seed beads (beads used in sample are Miyuki beads)
Size 12/1.0mm Crochet hook (or hook small enough to fit through holes in beads)

Gauge
20 sts/36 rows = 10cm (4”) in stockinette stitch after blocking
