The Strippy Stripe Tank Top is a wonderful and inventive tank top, perhaps lifechanging. The vertical stripes are created by knitting this tank side to side. The front and back are knit in one piece and then connected with kitchener stitch. The only seaming you have to do is just two itty bitty fun easy and cute mattress stitch seams to connect your straps at the shoulders. This top features sleek and clean icord edgings that give a great fit and a neat look. Have fun with color and use up all your scraps with this playful summer top.

CONSTRUCTION
Tank top is knit flat, side to side, in one piece. Tank top begins at the right side-seam with a provisional cast on. When viewing the RS, the right edge is the bottom hem, and the left edge is the armholes, straps, and neckline. Armholes, straps, and neckline are shaped with standard increases and decreases plus cast ons and bind offs. The right side-seam is joined together at the end with kitchener stitch. Shoulder seams are attached using mattress stitch. Applied icords are worked along all edges as finishings.
