Stringband
This versatile accessory knits quickly with a primarily garter stitch fabric bordered by ribbing and a hem. The fabric is knit straight back and forth and stitches are picked up to create a buttonband. Pull the I-cord drawstring to cinch the fabric and tie the ends around your head for a hat or button it in different ways for a cowl.
