Striations Lace Crescent
Layers of lace alternate with solid bands on this easy crescent-shaped shawl. Knit in cozy, reversible garter stitch, the shawl was designed for lace and fingering weight yarns.
Since the narrow I-cord cast off can be started after any even row, it also is easy customize the size for a variety of yarns or work a stockinette stitch version.
The sample was knit with merino and silk lace yarn.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Blocked Size
14” (35.5 cm) deep and 72” (183 cm) wide, and size can be customized
