Stole'n'Secret
This simple filet crochet scarf hides a secret message. When you hold it up to the light, or place it on a contrasting background, the message is revealed. Mine says Mufflermatics, which is the title of the book it comes from. I used the word twice, once in each direction with the ends of the words towards the centre.
The pattern includes all the letters you need to make your own message and tells you how to place them on the scarf.
Using DK yarn the scarf needs to be about 18 cm (7”) wide but you can make it wider if you wish. The length depends on the message you want to include.
The pattern is also available in Mufflermatics an ebook of mathematical scarves and shawls.
