In traditional basketry the stake and strand is worked by using of two sets of interlaced elements; one set is stable, while the other is moved in and out of the stakes. - from the museum of anthropology
Find that stashed variegated yarn and get ready to knit!

This is a pattern for a pair of knitted mitts with moss stitch and cable motif, worked in the round from the bottom cuff up. This pattern can be easily changed by working with smaller or larger needles in sport to DK weight yarn.

ABOUT SIZING:
Someone asked me about the listed size vs hand circumference and I thought, pictures tell more- There are 3 photos, of the same beige glove
