The lace mesh is very stretchy and will expand length and/or width-wise.

I had just the one ball of this lovely Ty Dy cotton and wanted to do something special with it that would accentuate and not obscure the gorgeous mirrored color striping, but still have some patterning more than simple K n P and this was what I came up with. * Note: If you use the Ty Dy and knit longer/shorter than the 15 +/- inches you get with one ball it will not mirror the colors as shown.
