I call this hat “Snowburst” because the allover pattern on the top reminds me of the first wet snowflakes of the winter season when they SPLAT on the windshield. It looks to me like they burst on contact. I love it. I added the white “snowflakes” on the tree band in the navy hat for fun. Totally optional.
Four sizes are included. Infant, Child, Adult, Large Adult.

Note: trees in hat on left were done with multiple scraps of green - see chart for more info.
Never more than two colors on a round.
Always choose size based on final circumference. Cascade 220 Superwash Aran used here

This cap is a great Stash Buster. If your stash has small amounts of aran weights, they can be used interchangeably with the Contrasting Colors below as long as they meet gauge.

US Size 7 / 4.5 mm 16 or 24 in Circular Needles OR size needed to obtain gauge.
DPNs in same size as above to complete decreases.
Sharp Darning Needle, Stitch Marker Pom Pom or Tassel, Optional.
Gauge: 18 st x 22 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in stranded stockinette st, slightly stretched.
Finished Height: ( 7.25, 9, 9.5, 10 ) in / (18.5, 23, 23.5, 25 ) cm
