Slanted Cowl
This is a perfect quick knit cowl!
It is knit in chunky yarn on the bias, starting with a provisional cast-on. Then the beginning and ending stitches are grafted together to form the seamless cowl.
You cast on one time at the beginning, using a provisional cast-on. When you change colors, in the section where you change colors every 2 rows, carry the other color along the side. I cut the yarn for the longer sections, but you could carry the yarn along the side if you wanted to.
Size: one size – 6”/15 cm height, 8.5”, circumference 56”/140 cm
Materials:
Loops & Thread Cozy Wool (50% Wool/50% Acrylic) – 90 yds/80m per 4.5 oz/127g skein – Super Bulky Yarn
1 skein (70 yds/65m) in Color 1
1 skein (70 yds/65m) in Color 2
1 set of US # 13 (9 mm) needles
Tapestry Needle
Gauge: 9 sts & 12 rows= 4 inches in stockinette (use the size needle that gets gauge)
Note: To make a slightly wider cowl, simply cast-on a few more stitches (see my project pages).
