Here a hat and scarf knitted in one piece and featured in the Music section of In the Mood, the word Skat has many other meanings, including

• A yacht
• The Danish tax authority
• Delta Aquarii, a star traditionally called Skat
• A river in Bulgaria
• A Bulgarian cable TV company
• A trailer made by Erie Aluminium Products
• In Danish the word means treasure or tax, also a common term of endearment similar to honey or pet
• Animal faeces or someone who receives sexual gratification from faeces

We live and learn! This project was named Skat for its musical reference. I was not aware of the unsavoury final reference and hope the name doesn’t put anyone off knitting it! (Jean Moss)
