Sid the Snowman Tea Cosy won’t melt even on the hottest teapot!
The main part of the cosy is made using crocodile stitch - not easy to measure for the gauge information however this can be varied to suit your teapot size by using a heavier weight yarn or varying the hook size.

The head is made and attched separately and each cosy will look different according to how you attach the features.
