Stranded colour work can be a great way to use up stash scraps or the remainders of a knit sweater. I used the leftover yarn from my Moody Hue pullover design (coming Nov 1) to come up with this rainbow hat in murky stripes.

I recommend measuring the head of the intended wearer to choose size. There is very little stretch in the fabric made with stranded colour work, meaning the hat must fit the head perfectly to get on and stay on. This hat fits tight, with a little extra length at the top.
