Serenity Wrap & Beach Skirt
The Serenity Wrap Poncho and Beach Skirt was my entry into the Battle of the Stitches Challenge #6. My inspiration was the soothing blues and breezes of the sea on a Caribbean island. I love this lacy stitch and how it sways gently. It’s a versatile piece that goes from beach to evening wear in a flash. The cord ties into a pretty decorative bow when worn as a poncho and doubles as a drawstring to convert it into a quick beach skirt. Add a brooch or pretty stick pin and it is a lovely wrap for an evening out.
The pattern includes 3 sizes and two different hem finishes. You could even make it longer and wear it as a tube top beach cover too!
My patterns are written in Standard American Terms and include pictures, stitch guides and explanations, as necessary, to make them easy to follow.
