Scotian Meadows
It’s a cosy snuggle of a wrap designed to fend off salt air chills and the fiercest air conditioning attacks. It will sail into fall with grace. One long basketweave-stitched rectangle undulating with seed stitch borders, its irregular edges gently widen as the design progresses towards the center, forming a shawl collar. Though mine is knit in a mix of cotton, silk and mohair, any fiber will work. I’ve mixed bulky fibers with thinner yarns doubled and worked the whole on size 9mm needles.
Try blending your own colors or follow my yarn guide. Should the thought of such yarn foraging cause you despair, consider purchasing a kit from Yarn Stashio, available from Chezcas.com. Yarn Stashio works with me to select beautiful yarns in my color schemes but also offers other color options as well.
