This short-sleeved boyfriend cardigan is a classic. It’s simple to knit, worked seamlessly from the bottom-up and great for beginners. Sarabeth looks great worn open, or buttoned closed and topped off with a belt. It’s shown here in size S/M worked in a loose fabric. Sweater knits up beautifully with worsted weight yarn worked at gauge, as shown in the youth version of this pattern.
