Sizes of the hats are as follows
PREM - Premature babies – 10-12 inches (25.5-30.5 cm)
Newborn (NB) – 12-14 inches (30.5-35.5 cm)
0-6 months – 14-16 inches (35.5 – 40.5 cm)
6-12 months – 16-18 inches (40.5-45.75 cm)
1-5 years – 18-20 inches (45.75-51 cm)
S - 5 years-Teen & Small Adult – 20-22 inches (51-56 cm)
M - Medium Adult – 22-24 inches (56-61 cm)
L - Large Adult - 24-26 inches (61-66cm)

The Santa Hat pattern uses DK yarn, and 4.00mm (size F) and (size H) 5.00mm crochet hooks. You will need between 23-87 grams (0.82-3.07 oz) approximately of red yarn, and between 21-77 grams (0.75-2.72 oz) approximately of white yarn, depending on size.
