The pattern includes two kinds of Santa hats, one traditional and one slim top. The pattern starts from the cuff, which folds double, and continues with the hat. At the top, the traditional yarn-ball!

Size: about 0-4 months (6 months - 2 years) 2 - 4 years (4 - 10 years)
Circumference: about 28-30 (34-35) 37-40 (41-42) cm / 11-11,8 (13,4-13,8) 14,5-15,7 (16 - 16,5)“.
The circumference is based on a tight fit in order to have a good fit on the head. The yarn is stretchy, hence the small differences in circumference.
Length: Slim hat - about 15,5 (17,5) 19,5 (21) cm / 6 (6,9) 7,7 (8,2)” to the marker before the top.
Traditional hat - about 31 (36) 41 (44) cm / 12,2 (14) 16 (17,3)“ without the yarn-ball.

Needles: 4,5 mm / 7 (US) to obtain the right gauge of 17 stitches and 26 rows = 10 cm/4”. NOTE! You need to have extra yarn besides the amount above to knit a sample, as the yarn is long-haired and difficult to unravel. Therefore, it´s important to check the gauge.
Accessories: Markers, two pairs of 4,5 mm / 7 (US), 80 cm / 31,5” circular or double pointed needles, crochet needle 5 mm/ 8 (US), scrap yarn, darning needle, scissor, pompom-maker for yarn-balls 5-6 cm/ about 2” in diameter.

Det finns två modeller på tomteluva i detta mönster: en traditionell luva och och luva med smal topp. Man börjar sticka mudden, som sen viks dubbel, och fortsätter med luvan i vald modell. Avslutningsvis en garnboll i toppen.
Båda varianter kan garantera en maximalt julig känsla!

OBS! Beräkna att använda lite av garnet till ett stickprov då garnet är långhårigt och lite svårt att repa upp. Därför är det extra viktigt att kontrollera stickfastheten noga!

Tillbehör: Stickmarkörer, 4,5 mm rundstickor på 80 cm eller strumpstickor, virknål 5 mm, restgarn, stoppnål, sax, pompom-maker eller en egengjord garnbollsmall för att få till en boll på ca 5-6 cm i diameter.
