A pudgy little Santa gnome is a fun, festive Christmas crochet project. This free pattern will work up fast and give you a little holiday friend to put under your tree or on your mantle.

This guy has let his beard get a little out of control. It’s taken over not just his face, but his whole body. But at least he has that cute button nose sticking out through the curls.

This pattern is for crochet only.

Finished Santa/elf is 7 inches tall when using Red Heart Super Saver yarn.

Gauge is not important.

Beginner/Intermediate pattern. Need to have knowledge of single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), increases and decreases, working in the round, and amigurumi stuffing and part attachment (with yarn needle).

Red Heart Super Saver, red or green(220 yds) ; off white (150 yds); beige (< 100 yds); black (< 100 yds); gold (scrap)

H (5.00mm) hook
