It took a lot of trial and error and many ugly sand dollars to finally arrive at these. The sand dollars on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico were so awesome and inspiring, I knew I had to make one. And not just one, enough of them to decorate my patio table in the summer months.
This pattern is for crochet only.
All patterns are written in US terms using Craft Yarn Council abbreviations.
Easy pattern. Need to have knowledge of chains (ch)s, double crochet (dc), front post single crochet (fpdc), and increases.
Supplies
Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton, worsted weight, 100% mercerized cotton, 100 g/ 3.5 oz / 186 yds, in Jade, Mint, Ecru, and Aqua, 1 ball each.
Furls Odyssey G (4.00 mm) hook
Tapestry needle
Size
Finished coasters are 4.5” in diameter.
