Sundara created this amazing colour she named ‘The Great Pacific’, and this design was inspired by the gorgeous colour of the yarn and the images evoked by its name. The pattern involves orderly, repeating elements, much like the formation of salt crystals. It also reminds me of all things nautical, like sail cloths and sailor stripes, which I can never seem to get enough of.
