Sagittarius Set
You can now purchase the Sagittarius Set pattern as part of a kit in our online store. The kit includes Tundra, the pattern PDF and a project bag. Purchase here.
A constellation of the zodiac, Sagittarius is Latin for ‘archer’ and is commonly represented as a centaur pulling an arrow into position on a bow. The constellation lines up directly with the Sun at winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, on 21st December.
A perfect set of three! Knit a hat, a pair of mitts, a cowl or all three! The Sagittarius Set brings warmth to this winter season, and makes a beautiful gift set!
Knit in our pleasingly plump Tundra yarn, these accessories work up quickly. They feature a pretty twisted stitch pattern which looks intricate, but is remarkably easy to work.
The Almanac Series II
The Sagittarius Set is part of The Almanac Series II, which is a seasonal guide to knitting with The Fibre Co. yarns. Based on the original farmer’s Almanac guide to the seasons, this collection celebrates each month of the year with our Yarn of the Month and a new design launch in that yarn.
For The Almanac Series II, we looked to the heavens for inspiration. The beauty and grandeur of the night sky and awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena guided our creativity.
