This top-down shawl combines half-circle construction with the classic wedge seen in triangle shawls. By combining the two you end up with a shawl that you can wear a variety of ways!

Saffron is perfect for that precious ball of gradient yarn in your stash. The lace charts can easily be repeated or adjusted so you can use up as much yarn as possible.

Pattern Notes:

  • Shawl was knit using one ball of a Medium Evolution (470 yards) from Twisted Fiber Art.

  • With extra yarn, you can add as many repeats of either Chart A or Chart B as you like. When adding repeats of Chart B, you can finish on row 6, 8, 14 or 16 before binding off and have a nice edge to your shawl. Remember, changing the size of the shawl will affect the amount of yarn needed!

  • Written instructions are included with charts

  • If you are using stitch markers to mark each lace repeat, the stitch markers will need to be rearranged on row 7 of chart A. If you need help with that, check out my tutorial here.
