Rupert Plaid Hat - Addi Express
Rupert Plaid Hat - A fun and simple hat with a plaid/tartan design, made using the Addi Express King Size (46 pin) circular knitting machine.
Yarn Type
Worsted or Aran weight yarns work best for hats. If not, 4ply (fingering) weight yarns held double can also work.
Yarn Quantity
3 colours - breakdown as follows:
Main colour (MC) - 100g (approx 220yds)
Colour 1 (C1) - 27g
Colour 2 (C2) - 12g
Tools
Addi Express King Size (46 pin), 6mm (US 10) crochet hook, row counter (if necessary), scissors, loom hook (or any tool for rescuing dropped stitches!), measuring tape and a yarn needle.
Gauge
Gauge in Stockinette stitch on the Addi is: 15 sts by 19 rows over 4” (10cm) square (unblocked).
