#This pattern is for TOE-UP, CUFF-DOWN is HERE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These socks take their name from the overlooked beauty of a wheat field and all the little wheat spikes on the wheat stalks. Worked up in a perfect fall red, these cozy socks will keep your feet warm on chillier days.
The pattern is written for DPNs referring to Needles 1-4. You can accommodate it for Magic Loop or 2 circulars.
NOTIONS: Stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round, A tapestry needle for weaving ends.
PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.
DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner: Increases, decreases, and sock construction.
YARN: This pattern is better suited for solid or lightly tonal yarn to show off the detail of the pattern, which may get lost in a heavy variegated yarn.
